Great Altcar is a
farming community with the housing scattered among the farms, and along t=

5195, which passes through the village from Formby to Ormskirk. Little Altcar comp=
rises
of housing and a few shops, at the south end of Formby. Within the parish
boundary, and formally within the Parish of Little Altcar, is the =
Altcar Range, which runs a=

is at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday. It is a Parish Communion Service, and we use
the modern Common Worship services. Our Church is very friendly, and new
visitors are especially welcome. We have several small babies in the
congregation, and plenty of willing hands to help look after them ! We are very proud of our link with the 1st Fo=
rmby
Scout Group - one of the oldest in the world - and they attend our Church=
on
