Not exactly an "organization", Dorothy Hesson's HomePage has a wealth of useful "curriculum oriented" links! My personal favorite (from her site) is: Instructional Technology Resource Center Workshop Materials. It's not 100% accessible, but it shows which workshops to keep an eye out for :)
"Almost all lesson plans developed by teachers contain student learning objectives, instructional procedures, the required materials, and some written description of how the students will be evaluated."
I'd like to think that the best place to get books is from me (ASL Books), but if you don't find what you're looking for, try the publishers listed at Agoralang.com.

Center for Applied Linguistics
CAL is a great place for all kinds of statistics and other relevant
information pertaining to teaching foreign languages. In many cases,
they can provide assistance in measuring & developing programs.
This page, National Survey
of Foreign Language Instruction in Elementary and Secondary Schools..
, has statistics on which foreign languages are being studied.

AMERICAN

AATSP promotes the study and teaching of Hispanic, Luso-Brazilian,
and other related languages, literatures, and cultures at all levels. AATSP

These are links to other articles & sites which may be of use to foreign language teachers. Some of them are here on this web site (Dan & Alysse's Homepage); many are at other locations. Enjoy!
Don't be afraid to dig around. A lot of sites say they are in a foreign language ... but once you get in, they offer you an "English version" choice. More importantly, when you dig deep, you find great things ... ie, I came across a Danish site that had terrific Japanese art links!
Also, be sure and check out my Student
Links ... there's a tremendous amount of cross-over information, since
what they're trying to learn is what we're trying to teach!
