Official Bulletin No. 1/97:The Ambassadors of American Culture, under the direction of Thomas G. Wiggins, happen to be one of the most recognized authorities in the field of black American music in the U. S. as well as in Europe. As the most successful "Blues Caravan Tours" in 1995 and 1996 through many European countries such as France, England, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and Italy have shown, black American music is received with open minds and open hearts by European audiences at festivals, major concert events and club appearances. Encouraged by the positive response to our activities in the past we will intensify our efforts to bring America's only contribution to the world culture, which is black blues, jazz and gospel music, to an international audience. |
