Book Five, the finale to the entire story, is posted :-)

I am Michael Warren, and I created this website as a fun way to share this story with my friends and anyone else who finds their way here.

I am an amateur, and while I've written a few short stories before, this is really my first major litery effort. This story is primarily for fun and practice, which I used to experiment with different concepts and ideas in a fictional environment I am comfortable with; namely the Babylon 5 Television Series.

I used the show only as a point of reference, so do not expect this to be fully congruous with the show upon which I based this story. I tried to write the story to be self-explanatory, so that those unfamiliar with the show will still find find this story enjoyable.

Although I am happy with how my story turned out, I admit the thing is still in a pretty rough draft form. I made numerous errors all over the place, but hopefully the strengths of the story will outweigh its weaknesses.

I wrote this story in "Film Script-like" format. And while I kept some characteristics of a book, I really wanted this story to feel like watching a movie at the theatre. I even added pictures and sound files to accompany the story.

Many characters in this story are based on characters created in an online Babylon 5 Role Playing Game in which I participated. I wish to thank the players who played the characters in the game for helping inspire me to write this story. Here's a little disclaimer one of the players recently wanted me to add:

As the Author I tried to fictionally continue some of the story/characters/situations originally presented in the game. I tried to do justice to the characters they inspired. However, this story should not be considered official, or endorsed by the players of the game. This story is intended as fictional entertainment.

I should warn you the following story reveals several plot twists from the Babylon 5 TV and Book Series. If you wish to avoid spoiling the many surprises, I suggest avoiding my story until you are comfortable.

I did this for the necessity of the readers' understanding. I apologize to the writers of Official Babylon 5 Fiction if I'm giving away too much, but I like to look at it as free advertising for your excellent stories. As you can probably tell by now, I'm a fan of the show and the Centauri and Techno-Mage Trilogies.

At the bottom corner of each page of the story you will find a link to Commentary Pages regarding each Act. I wrote this entire Commentary as a neat little "DVD-like" Special Feature. The following is a list of musical selections I believe you should play along with my story if you can find on CD or MP3 (a small note will appear in the story saying when each song should be played).

Henry V - Non Nobis, Domine

Charlotte Church - Ave Maria

I suggest you either bookmark this page, because the story will likely take you multiple visits to fully read. And by the way, how do you like the picture I pasted together at the top of this page? Whew, it was tough.

I gladly present:

Book the First

Story Index Page - If you lost your spot in the story and forgot which page you were on, just check this page containing links to each Act accompanied with a short synopsis of what you will find written there.

Casting Page - This is the page where you can find out which actors I casted for all the major roles in my story. It also doubles as my end credits page. Enjoy.

Author's Commentary - This is where I discuss my story on an Act by Act basis. You can also access the commentary at the bottom right of each Act.

Message Forum - Here you can discuss the story with the author and other readers in an interactive message board. You can make comments, ask questions, or just talk over different aspects of the Saga.

I created this website and wrote all material therein, except for several  still frame images from the B5 and Crusade TV Series, as well as other miscellaneous shows and movies. I adapted many storylines, characters, and names from J. Michael Straczynski's Babylon 5 and Crusade TV Series. I wish to extend full credit to the many people out there in the Book/TV/ Movie Businesses who made this website possible with all their fine work. To the best of my knowledge no one is making any money off this website, and was created only some entertainment and fun.

Thank you to all my friends who helped me develop my webmaking skills.
