What's New in
Music...
The usual singers are releasing the usual hits.
I haven't done any new reviews of anything past 2000. But you can
find some reviews of some nice music from the late 90s like Georges Wassouf's
release Tabeeb Jarrah; Palestinian
group, El-Fanoun's Zaghareed
release; plus two new compilations of the music from the Fes
Festival of World Sacred Music.
There is an album which is over two years old which is getting a lot
of buzz lately and that is Ilham
Al-Madfai's - KHUTTAR. I highly recommend this Iraqi singer's album.
He is based in the US and comes around on tour every once and a while.
