Band Du Jour

The Hottest Contra Dance Music in Western Pennsylvania

Updated 13 November 2002

Band du Jour is Western Pennsylvania's source for live "traditional" dance music. Exciting arrangements of Irish, New England, French Canadian, and old-time Appalachian tunes have made the band a favorite with both dancers and callers. Fiddle, oboe, whistles, mandolin, guitar, piano, feet, and bass.

Band Du Jour plays mostly for the regular Friday night contra dances in Pittsburgh, and at weddings and private parties. We've played the Friday night dance for the Pittsburgh Fall Dance Weekend for the last couple years to rave reviews. Check the Community Dance Network website to see when we'll be playing.

For bookings or more information, email any of the members, or call Rich or Sue at (412) 244-8864.
