Return to MAYS President Information To all, Playoff structure
is as follows: · Age groups with
one conference and fewer than 9 teams will have just a FINAL. · Age groups with
one conference and 9 or greater teams will have SEMIS and FINAL. · Age groups with
two conferences will have SEMIS and FINALS playing in a cross-over conference
format. · Age groups with
three conferences will have Preliminaries, Quarters, Semis, and Finals.
Identify the top 4 teams from each of the 3 conferences then seed those teams
1-12. The top four teams will have a bye during the Preliminary round.
Preliminary round will consist of teams 5-12 playing each other. Winners
advancing to Quarters playing teams 1-4... · Age groups
with four conferences will have Preliminaries, Quarters, Semis, and
Finals. Identify the top 3 teams from each of the 4 conferences
then seed those teams 1-12. The top four teams will have a bye during the
Preliminary round. Preliminary round will consist of teams 5-12 playing each

The MAPLE U11 K.C. Andre Cup Tournament, U12 Paul Irwin Tournament, MAPLE-D
qualifying games, and other MAPLE promotion/relegation games have a lower
player priority than the MAYSL games and post-season playoffs. · Requests to
change Playoff Game dates and times will not be accepted. In the event of
severe inclement weather, games will be rescheduled by the league. Andy |
