Hey Girlfriend, Can We Talk I know it is hard for us to walk Many of us are in wheelchairs Many of us cannot walk up stairs
Many of us are in a lot of pain Many of us have a lot of strain Many of us are chronically ill All of us have some type of pills
Yes girlfriend, that is sad However it's my choice to be glad Life is about choices we must make I chose the better road for me to take
I choose love in place of hate Isn't that really great I choose to smile instead of frown It helps me keep my feet on the ground
I choose to build instead of destroy It fills me with an inner joy I choose to persevere instead of to quit For at my computer is where I sit
I choose to praise rather than gossip Gossip causes pain like hot water from a faucet I choose to heal rather than wound I would rather hear my friends swoon
I choose to give rather than take Giving never causes a heart to break I choose to act rather than delay You never know if this will be your last day
I choose to forgive rather than to curse For to curse someone is simply the worst I choose to pray rather than despair Prayer is something everyone can share
So here I sit alone, sick and disable Thinking of the things of which I am capable Making a choice to be happy and smile Knowing God is next to me all the while
For it is not my disabilities that makes me who I am It is my love for others and trying to tell them If I pass around the love, I have inside of me Maybe you will take a look, and then you will see
It's not really that bad if we make the right choice Then perhaps inside of us we will be able to rejoice God may have taken away, many things we were able to do Now look in the mirror, He's Made An Angel Out of YOU
