Adobe Acrobat Reader Documents
These articles are in Acrobat PDF format. The primary advantage with this document format is that it is operating system independent: once the viewer is installed, the same file can be viewed on Microsft Windows, Unix, or MacIntosh platforms. If you do not have this {free} utility installed, access the Adobe download area (http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html).
Access hints (after Acrobat Reader has been installed):
- To view on-line: single click on the file link (or the PDF icon). Acrobat Reader will automatically launch.
- To save a copy after viewing: If you would still like to save a copy to your disk, on the Acrobat Reader menu bar, select File -> Save As. If you are using frames, use the File -> Save Frame As option.
- To return to this page: Use your browser "back" key to exit from the PDF document.
- To download without previewing: If you are using version 3.0 or higher of either Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer, use right mouse click on the file link (or the PDF icon). In the pop-up window, select the "Save link as..." or "Save to disk" option (the actual menu option text will differ depending on your browser type and version).
