aspect of the science of archaeology as a common thread. To date

Life as their common theme. To date there are over 80 PALEO

Arkansas Archeological Survey - A wonderful site chock full of
information about the great lithics state of Arkansas.

Literature -
Michael A. Pfeiffer's huge list of projectile point
related documents and books. A great effort by Mike for
those doing research.
Society
for California Archaeology - The SCA's Home Page. It
appears to be a well organized site. Nice pointers to
research locations.
Central States
Archaeology Societies - The
CSAS is an organization comprised of member state archaeological societes in
the central and midwest United States.. This fine organization publishes the quarterly
magazine
Central States
Archaeological Journal.
Colorado Archaeological Network - Website that connects and represents the
various Colorado Archaeological Societies and other
archaeological web resources of the western US.
Florida Division of Historical
Development - Nice
site devoted to Florida Archaeology.
History of Primitive Technologies
Site - W. R.
Knapp's pages devoted to primitive technologies,
knapping, Atlatls, etc. with various pointers to Native
American Indian sites as well. (Some of the applied
pre-historic technologies were not that primitive
in my humble opinion.)
Indiana University - The Glenn A. Black Laboratory of
Archaeology Site from I.U. has a wealth of site reports
and information on the Midwest central area of the
country.
Jennifer's Archaeology Website - A real informative site hosted by
archaeologist Jennifer Hutchey.
Knappers Anonymous - A big site which is the Mecca for
web-enabled modern day flint knappers. The site maintains
a large number of pointers relating to lithics, sources
of flint supply and personal home pages. A well done
site.

Server - The
wonderful Archaeological Lithics Analysis Discussion List
Server for those seeking lithics information.
The Lithics Site - A marvelous links page maintained by Hugh
Jarvis at the University of Buffalo, NY. Hugh has
pointers to an incredible number of lithics, archaeology
and related sites.
Luxembourg Archaeology Site - A really impressive site with a European
focus and flavor for the past.
Michael Miller's Site - A nice site containing a quiltwork of
lithics, flint knapping, microwear, heat treating and
other pearls of wisdom from this native of Ohio.
Middle Atlantic Archaeological
Conference - MAAC
- An organization devoted to middle Atlantic states'
sites and activities. Nice set of publications available.
Minnesota - Projectile Points of - An introduction with illustrations about
Minnesota projectile points. Authored by Dan
Higginbottom.
Moundbuilders - The Hutchison Research Center, A new site
devoted to Amerindian Moundbuilders, early Amerindian
Civilizations and discovery. Worth the trip!
National
Park Service - Archaeology and Ethnography Program - A marvelous web site that is just chock
full of information on North American archaeology and
sites. Well worth the visit.

Page - A real nice
web page by Karen Strom that points to a myriad number of
Native North American Archaeological Resources on the
Internet - organized by geographic region - this is just
a small part of her wonderful Native American Resources
site.
New York State Archaeological
Association - Home
page for the many chapters of this fine organization.
North American Archaeology Links - Georgia Dennis' wonderful and vast
Webweaver site at Middle Tennessee State University which
maintains a plethora of links to various and sundry
topics.
Northeast Lithic Database - Cooperative Project for Northeastern
States Lithics with searchable database and bibliography.

North Carolina - Todd St. John's site that portrays local
North Carolina points and a chronology of these lithics
from the NC Piedmont. A new site worthy of your time.
Norway - The SARC (Stone Age Reference Collection)
from the University of Oslo is a wonderful site that
features a wealth of information on lithics including a
typology and methods section.
Oklahoma - Matt Row's web site which features his
Personal Collection of Indian artifacts which he has
found in Oklahoma.
Ohio - The Ohio Public Library
Information Network (OPLIN) - A really nice
typology of Ohio's point types. A magnificent site well
worth your time.
Ohio - Jason Hanna's web site which features his
Personal Collection of Indian artifacts which he has
found in Ohio.

Indian Site - A
neat site maintained by Tony Baker containing his essays
on projectile point refurbishing during prehistory and
information on how Folsom points were made.

Valley Archaeology Center - features a real nice Western Wisconsin
hypertext Projectile Point Typology catalog for the
northern Mid-West States.
Point Types of Southern Ontario - Hypertext Projectile Point Typology for

Texas Point Collection - Ted Dunnegan's wonderful collection of
Texas projectile points is beautifully illuminated in his

Texas Collection - Sterling's new Web Site depicting his
growing collection of artifacts found in Texas.
Upper Midwest Rock Art Research
Association - This
site is the home and focal point for those who publish
petroglyph and pictograph research which is being
conducted in the Upper Midwest of the United States
(Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North & South Dakota).
Also there are some nice projectile point pages for that
area of the country. A very nice site, worth your time.
West Virginia Archaeological
Research Library -
Nice hyperlink virtual library with some point type

of Connecticut's ARCHNet Software Site - A page with
links to some software for artifact analysis and ,
plotting, gridding, sample sizes etc.
WINRelic - A Windows
relational database program written by Jeff Anderson to
help the collector / searcher keep track of artifacts,
sites, related finds, and purchases.
The Scout Report - Not a search engine but rather 3 weekly
e-mail newsletters that you can subscribe to for free.
Each newsletter lists new and interesting www sites and
is topical.

support ethical Artifact collecting practices that are in
accordance with Local, State and Federal Laws. It is your duty to
