BATIKS by ARTPATCH   Batik: Hand painting with wax and dyes on natural fabrics Clothing * T shirts *  Tapestries * Fine Art Pieces   BATIK designs are not silk screened or transfers.  I personally hand paint each piece with melted wax and dye and then boil it to get all the wax out of the fabric. Each batik is a unique piece of art and will last for years and years, even on a T shirt with regular washing. Batiked images art part of the fabric and will not fade. BATIKING IS hard physical work and takes a lot of time, practice, effort and supplies to complete the whole process. Batiking is a labor of love.
