ASA of Pa. Coaches' Schools, Clinics, etc.

    You can qualify to become an ASA VIP Softball Coach or receive credit towards your Bronze, Silver, or Gold Awards by attending an ASA National or State School.  See Balls and Strikes for the next school near you.

A softball skills instructor course was recently conducted at the Mount Nittany Middle School in State College, Pa. The course instructor was Cindy Bristow, Program Development Director of the International Softball Federation.  Purpose of the school was to instruct the above candidates in fundamentals of infield, outfield play, hitting, pitching and catching for both fastpitch and slowpitch softball.  These certified instructors will join Dan McCollick-Langhorne, Linda Roshong-Leesport, Ed Stinner-Orefield, Bernadette Murphy-Secane and Rocci Pignoli-Temple University in giving the ASA of Pa. JO Coaching Schools through out the state in 2002.
