I Believe in Santa Claus

Yes there is a Santa Claus, thank goodness.

With the cool, crisp mornings of Fall and the changing of the leaves the excitement starts to build. We celebrate Thanksgiving with feast, family and friends. We take time to give thanks for all we have enjoyed throughout the year. By the way, I cook the Thanksgiving meal and it is quite good. Mrs. Claus and everyone else helps, of course. We have to keep an eye on Rudolph. He likes to get into the dressing. I can not blame him, I sneak a little myself when no one is looking.

We barely have time to clear the table and wash the dishes before it's the official beginning of the big one. The Christmas Holiday Season. A wonderful time of year where magic fills the air. People shopping for presents. The twinkle of the lights. The many beautiful decorations. My favorite time of year, and yours I'm sure.

The Christmas Holidays are a time filled with many wonderful traditions. Decorating the house and Christmas tree with all those special items we bring out only once a year. Many of them handed down from one generation to the next. Of course there is the annual ritual of untangling yards of lights so we can hang them around the house and tree. Of course, it could not be Christmas without that long standing symbol of the Holidays, me, Santa Claus.

How I love to bring a bit of joy to someone's heart. A smile to their face. A moment of happiness into their lives. You see, whether they will admit it or not, everyone believes in the spirit of Santa Claus and I am here to bring back some of the magic and wonder of the Holidays.
