Bernina Pass - 2323 metres

This Alpine Pass is in Switzerland, very close to the Italian border. Alongside the road is a railway, the highest through line in Europe. |

It is an easy climb from either side, very open and exposed, and a fairly major route, reputedly kept open all year.
