Think you might like to help Aussie rescue in some way, but can't foster? Sometimes an adopter wants to adopt an Aussie who is being fostered in another state, or a volunteer who can't foster another Aussie can spring an Aussie from a shelter, but the foster home is some distance away. If you have a car and a little time, you could help transport Aussies from shelters to foster homes or from foster homes to forever homes. The Aussies, the adopters and the foster homes would be very grateful for your help! Please consider signing up for the Aussie CUR (Canine Underground Railroad) list on Yahoo! Groups. You will only receive emails looking for transport help--no deluge of off topic chit-chat emails. Most transport legs are under 100 miles one way.
