I sent a cast picture from Father Knows Best with sigs of Donahue,
Wyatt & Gray already on them. I already heard reports that he no
longer signs but I told myself if I was going to write to the others I
should at least write a letter to Robert Young. His assistant wrote
me a small handwritten note stating:
"Dear Mr. Vega - Sorry, but it is true that Mr. Young no longer signs
- He is 91 after all - I was able to find one of is old signed cards -
Maybe this will help - Fredende"
The signed card is a business size card with "Smile! God Loves You!"
in blue ink on one side; and "Good Wishes Robert Young" in black
marker on the other side. I cant tell if its real or not? Anyways
it's better than nothing.
Finally, I did happen to find a collector that would part with their
Robert Young autograph for $10.00. She told me that she saw him
in L.A. Airport in 1977 and managed to get his autograph this one
looks authentic to me?
