THE WEBSITE OF BOXLEY RD DETACHMENT, KACF

Welcome to our official web page. This is the home of our detachment, namely Boxley Road. We are a detachment of 20 or so cadets, all interested in one thing-Fun. We are members of the Army Cadet Force who's motto is "Inspire to achieve".
The ACF is a uniformed youth organisation which is sponsored and supported by the army. We run along a military basis which skills associated with the army as well as doing lots of other FUN things. For a comprehensive description of what we do, click here.
The ACF takes young people from the ages of 13 up to 18. Very often, we go away on weekends, to army training establishments to put our skills such as target shooting, first aid, map and compass and drill amongst many
others.  The big event of the cadet year is annual camp where all cadets from the whole county go away for two weeks do train for their star levels, make new friends and compete with other cadets. The last two camps for Kent ACF have been in Sennybridge, S.Wales where we climbed mountains and got to operate in the beautiful Brecon Beacons, and Oakehampton, Devon. This year, we are going to Salisbury Plain.  Feel free to explore the site and contact us for any information you would like.
