The best part of this trip
was that this was the first backpacking trip my two nephews ever took.
We backpacked about four miles to Alpine Falls and camped near the falls.
The next day we dayhiked to Sones Pond and back and did a little bushwacking
around camp. We spent two nights on the trail and had a lot of fun.
This
is the view from High Rock Vista. This is approximately a half a mile from
World's End State Park. The LT follows along the High Rock Trail from the
park to this point. The High Rock Trail is were it all started about twenty
years ago. This was the first trail I ever hiked.
