Hola! Mi Casa Es Su Casa! (Hello! My house is your house!)

You have reached AzPack's genealogy home page. This web site is dedicated to Packard Family History in general and more specifically to the descendants of Noah Packard & Sophia Bundy.

On it you will find page links to short articles that I or others have written about Noah & Sophia and some of their descendants. It contains Noah's autobiography as well as his memorial about the saints in Missouri that he delivered to the state of Massachusetts. There are some stories about other Packards whose histories have crossed our own. There are a few links to other web sites that you may find interesting if you are one of their descendants. There are links to sites where you can do family research. There are also links to sites where you can purchase computer genealogy software.

This web site will be changed quite often as I learn more about our extended Packard Family History and add more interesting pages to it. If you have a biography on one of Noah's descendants that you would like me to add to it, please pass it along for my consideration. I'm looking for biographies on all of their grandchildren. If there isn't one available, please consider writing one. Add a page to the ever expanding bookshelf. There is even a link to an article about writing biographies.

If you are a descendant of any Packard, send me an e-mail to find out if you or your ancestors are listed in my Packard computer database. My database started out as putting my fathers research into a computer genealogy program and then grew to include the work of Charlotte Fike Packard, whom I knew as a child. Her work consisted of eight generations of the descendants of Samuel and Elizabeth Packard. Since then my database has grown to include the lines of hundreds of people who have contributed the data of their lineages to it. It continues to grow with my ongoing correspondence with Alan D. Packard and his many decades of research. If you are a descendant of Samuel & Elizabeth Packard and would like to contribute your lineage to it, please send a computer genealogy program gedcom file (.ged) or a wordprocessor text file (.txt) to (azpack@aol.com).

If you are a Packard descendant looking for your ancestors and need some help, drop me an e-mail at the same address and I'll see if I can be of assistance.

If you happen to be a descendant of Noah & Sophia Packard, I really would like to make sure that you are included in my Noah Packard database with the correct information, including; current address, phone number and e-mail address.

At some date in the future I think it would be fun and worthwhile to organize a two day family reunion in Springville, Utah, for all of the living descendants of Noah & Sophia. Maybe after I have collected more current addresses on our cousins and see that there is enough interest.

If you have a problem accessing any of the pages listed on this home page with your ISP, drop me an e-mail of what you want and I will e-mail you back a copy of what you cannot reach. The file size and number limitations of my AOL web site sometimes creates problems with access, especially those with AOL as their ISP.

In the meantime, kick off your shoes, make yourself at home, find a cozy homemade quilt and comfy chair to curl up in, retrieve a good story to read, and enjoy. When you're done and it's time to go, please, make sure that y'all come back now, ya hear?
