The Rotaract
Club of South Shields is now in its 24th year. In that time we have been
involved in a huge variety of projects. These include :-
- Raising money for a local Mencap home
- Helping out on specially arranged old folks shopping trips
- Filling emergency boxes for disaster areas all over the world
- Organising parties for under privileged children
This is the
more serious side of Rotaract. However, all that hard work deserves some reward
and, like all good clubs, we know how to have a good time.
We regularly get
together as a group or with other clubs for :-
- Cinema trips
- Pub crawls
- Meals out and about
- Weekends away
