Temple of the Seekers

"Let not him who Seeks, cease until he finds,

and, when he finds, he shall be astonished."

The Temple of the Seekers is a Boston based group for the study and practice of Ceremonial Magick. The Temple, like other Societies, Lodges & Orders, recognizes the need for the student of the Occult to integrate the various philosophies, religious practices and Ritual Magickal methods, into a system of instruction that will allow him/her to reach their Highest Spiritual/Magickal potential.

The group is led by a Third Degree Wiccan High Priest, with the assistance of other Initiates, and the emphasis is on all group members, no matter their level, to contribute and participate in the readings, discussions, and Rituals.

Utilizing a system of 3 Degrees based upon the Mystical Allegory contained in the 22 Major Arcana of the Tarot, the Seeker is given a most in-depth explanation and experience of legend, symbolism, and allegory, so that they can more fully understand the Path they have chosen to walk, and to avoid the many pitfalls purposely put there.

The Major Aracana are used to illustrate the Journey from Fool to Adept. During the couse of this journey, the Seeker will learn to utilize Magick to "Create according to his own Will" and therefore be more able to rule his World (XXI).

On this journey, in additon to the teachings, the student will gather their Magickal working Toos, Consecrate them, and learn Magickal techniques, from the basic Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentragram to the more advanced Pentagram and Hexagram Rituals.

The Temple is an eclectic group, meaning that we perform Rituals based on a wide variety of disciplines, which we believe that the Seeker needs in order to practice Magick effectively.

As an Organization, the Temple provides a definitive Initiatory Path and curriculum which is unique unto itself. It is open to all sincere Seekers, regardless of sex, denomination, sexual preference, race, creed, color or previous Magickal experience. Age ranges are from 19 to 54. We believe that an atmosphere of Unity among the members is of the utmost importance.

The Temple is specifically designed to Guide people with little or no experience, but welcomes more experienced practitioners. The Temple recognizes that Mystery Religions have been in existence since the dawn of time and that most of the material it uses comes from the gleanings of all those glorious institutions. We are not interested in re-creating the Wheel, but in maximizing its effectiveness in our lives.

We are of the opinion that a Seeker should be interviewing the Guide(s) and not necessarily the other way around, for we believe that all sincere Seekers should be given the opportunity and the environment to evolve in.
