THIS PAGE IS DEDICATED TO MY 1968 CHEVELLE MALIBU.

My project started back in the spring of 1986. I found my Chevelle in a field, a few miles outside of Denver, Co. All of the windows were broken and there was approximately thirteen bullet holes in it.
The Chevelle was brought home and I got to work on it. Windows were replaced, the body work was done, and it was painted ( not the correct way I found out ). During all this work, I also built the engine, trans, and drivetrain.
The Chevelle was raced in this configuration for several years. After several camshafts, intakes, and other assorted hipo parts, the Chevelle ran a best of 12.96 @ 102 MPH. With a 175hp shot of nitrous it would go 11.77 @ 116 MPH.
The high point of the Chevelle's racing career was in the summer of 1989 when my good friend Jason drove it to a high school drags championship.
The Chevelle is now just driven on the street with an occaisional run down the 1/4 mile. In it's current configuration it runs 13.46 @ 100 MPH, with nitrous 12.06 @ 115 MPH.
Just for the record, this car was built by me, with help from my good friend Jason, in my undersized two car garage. That's everything from the paint to the differential.
