General Rules
Our rules are everyday netiquette.
E-mail Relevance - A line at the top of this page clearly states the function of this list - "This list is for the discussion of Ihagee and Exakta history, research and related products". Some members are offended by any non-Exakta related message. Others have a hard time reading English and it is quite irritating to spend time translating a message that has nothing to do with this list. Please make your messages pertain to Ihagee or Exakta related issues.
If your message is for only one or a few members - Please e-mail them privately. In an e-mail group, if you send a letter it goes to everyone on the list. Most people need to "cut and paste" the address from the initial e-mail. Check your e-mail before you send it, if it is
addressed to "Exakta@Topica.com", it will be sent to everyone on the list.
No Flaming - Flaming is the direct attack of one member by others. Keep in mind that we have members from several countries that are all trying to speak English. It is easy to misunderstand a persons intentions on the internet.
No Spam - Please, no eBay advertising.
FS Advertisements - Rules areHere Violations of these basic rules can be grounds for deletion of your subscription.
Options for Reading and Posting If you select the following options you must provide your e-mail and a password but you'll be able to do the following: Choose individual messages or digests- In digest mode you'll receive all of the days messages in one e-mail. Some members don't like to receive 5 or 10 separate e-mails from the
list. This is a very convenient way to read them!
