Here's a great way for you to help save bats. Have the rest of the students in your classroom get to know all about bats too. Ask your teacher to have a bat project as part of your studies. You can also have bat experts visit your classroom too. Here are some ideas to suggest.

If you have a University or College in your town, or one close by, find out who can come and talk to you about bats. People who teach
about wild animals often know much about bats. They enjoy talking to young students and sharing what they know. Your state or country's Fish and Wildlife Services have people who know many facts about bats. They would be good people to contact to see if they can present a program to your class.

Sometimes, where there is a zoo, there are zoo keepers who study bats and can talk about these animals. Is there a zoo in your town? They would be someone you can ask to come talk to your class. People who have
become concerned about
the safety of bats have learned many facts about them, and they too can tell you and your classmates what they have learned.
