I want to thank my kids Tim and Tricia for helping me with this project, and all of the great work they have done, they have known how much this project has meant to me, and have shown me, my efforts have not been in vain. I am so proud of them, and thank them with all my heart.
Although I've always been curious about my roots, I really didn't start researching them, until the birth of my first grandchild, Tyler, who was born Sept.1994. I didn't get a computer until 1996, and really became hooked, after the birth of my granddaughter, Elisabeth Christine, who was born Feb. 1997.
I dedicate this page, to my precious granddaughter "Lissa" who left this world in August of 1997. She inspired me, continues to inspire me, and will forever be my pride and joy. Please visit her web site, my kids, Tim and Tricia have put so much love into her memory, and to the web site.
I want to thank my former husband Ted, for my beautiful children, and my husband David, for our beautiful son, for they are the reason for this venture.
I thank my children, Tim, Tricia, Tod, and Josh, for just being mine, and to be able to do this for them. I thank them for my Grandchildren, now, and in the future.
I also want to thank my Mom and Dad, Walter and Christine Wooten for the very interesting family that I am part of. Thanks to my sister, Christine Sprout for all the work she has done and is doing on the Hohle and Kovar lines of our family. I want to thank my Cousins, that I met through researching my Whitaker line for all of their help, Linda Brown and Ann Strekfus.
I want to thank my Aunt Lucille Wooten Dean, who helped so much with info, locations, and just straightening me out, when I was going the wrong direction, she has been amazing in all she has remembered. I want to thank her son, my cousin, David Dean, for being my sidekick....I haven't done this alone, and couldn't of without his help.
