Amos Bead Wooten - Obituary
HONEA PATH - Amos Bead Wooten, 62, Rt 3, Honea Path, died at his home Friday at 8:15 p.m. after a year of declining health and an illness of six weeks. A native of North Carolina, he was a son of Eber and Elizabeth Harvey Wooten. He was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church and was a deacon of the church. He was employed by Chiquola Mfg. Co., of Honea Path. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Matthews Wooten, five sons, Walter B. Wooten of Washington State, Forest Claude Wooten of Honea Path, Jack Alton Wooten of Clinton, B. A. Wooten, and Samuel Boyd Wooten of Honea Path. Three daughters, Mrs. Haynie Dean of Ware Shoals, Mrs. Charles E. Brown of Honea Path, and Mrs. Willie Boyd Alewine of Honea Path. Two sisters, Mrs. Delia Ellison of Greenville, and Mrs. Laurie Glazner of Traveler's Rest, three brothers, F.A. Wooten of Greenville, Claude Wooten of Mt. Holly, NC, and Will Wooten of Gastonia, NC, and 21 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cox Funeral Home in Belton.

Ethel Matthews Wooten - Obituary
HONEA PATH - Ethel Matthews Wooten, 85 of Route 3, Holiday Dam Road, died Friday. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Surviving are five sons, Walter B. Wooten of Olympia, Washington, Forest Claude Wooten, Jack Alton Wooten, B.A. Wooten and Samuel Boyd Wooten, all of Honea Path, three daughters, Mrs. Haney Dean of Ware Shoals, Mrs. Charles Brown of Belton, and Mrs. Willie B. Alewine of Honea Path, and a sister, Vivian Matthews Justice of Sumter. Services: 2 p.m. Sunday at Riverside Baptist Church with burial in Garden of Memories. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Funeral Home, Belton.
