It is owned and run by the hosts, Pat and Arthur Curtis.<br> <br> Alpenhaus is conviently situated for visitors to Oxford, with the city centre being 10 miles away. The towns of Abingdon and Witney are also close by. There are plenty of tourist attractions in the area, including the historic university city of Oxford, Blenheim Palace, the Ridgeway footpath and the Thames towpath. All rooms have a colour television and hospitality trays with tea and coffee making facilites in them. Weather permitting breakfast may be taken on the patio. Guests are very welcome to walk round the garden.<br> <br> Alpenhaus is open all year round apart from Christmas. Parking is available on the front drive. Regretfully pets are not allowed in Alpenhaus as there are already 3 dogs in residence.
