Elaine S. Davis (Curry), 489
Elaine S. Davis (Curry), #489.
Elaine began her career as a dispatcher in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
In 1981 she relocated to the Bucks County area and took a position with the
Middletown Township Police Department and in 1991 she started working in
the Bucks County dispatch center. At the same time, she was involved in various
types of undercover work. She was very well known and respected for the way
she dispatched and knew how to handle just about any kind of situation that
came upon her. The most important things in Elaine's life were her son John
Robert and her 2 Rotties, Misty and Niki. She also enjoyed breeding her dogs
for their temperament and was able to give one of them, "Saint", to the Upper
Southampton Police Department as K9 unit where he is still actively working
for the department. There are many personal stories about Elaine, how she
would go out of her way to help people when they were in need whether it
would be a friend, family or a stranger. She would always brighten a room
up with her smile and her sense of humor which are sorely missed. The untimely
event of her death was result of a car accident that occurred on July 3rd,
1996. Few words can describe the loss to the Police Community and to those
who knew Elaine both personally and professionally.
