Jeanne, Dispatcher 410
I have been dispatching for the County since 1987, most of that time on the dayshift.
I visit the dark side on occasion and even tried working it for awhile, but I guess
I need the sunlight to exist! I hold current certifications in EMD, CPR and HAZ MAT
R&I. I have been a trainer for the new trainees, but now I just fill in when
needed. I am currently cross training to work Fire/Rescue. I am usually found
in the lower end of the county but I also enjoy working data and just to confuse people in
the upper end, I will sit relief there once in awhile. I spend most of my free time
with my two dogs, K.C. and (not so aptly named) Angel. I like to travel and when I
get the chance, visit with my son in Miami.
Personal Message : Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off
your goal!
Bob, Dispatcher 399
Bob has been working as a dispatcher since 1986. He is a certified Police Dispatcher and
holds certifications in Emergency Medical Dispatch, CPR and Haz-Mat R&I. A dispatcher
trainer, Bob works the mid-night shift and is usually responsible for the central and
upper areas of the county. From time to time he takes on the duties of acting supervisor.
Personal Message : Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light
of creative altruism or the darkness of destructive selfishness. This is the judgment.
Life's most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others? Rev MLK Jr,
Mat 23 & 25:34-40 and Rom 13:8-10 & 14:10.
Gail, Dispatcher
549
I have been a dispatcher since 1994 and hold certifications in Police Communications and
Emergency Medical Dispatch, Haz-Mat R&I and CPR. I am also an EMT and a Fire
Fighter. I enjoy outdoor adventure, traveling and spending time with my Rottwieler
Daisy.
Personal Message : Don't drink and drive. If you don't respect
yourself enough to get there alive, at least respect the others on the road.
Remember "sober" is not a four letter word.
