Message: Thank you so much for this website!! A few years ago, soon after Saint Francis closed I was trying to get my transcripts. After a lot of investigation I was finally able to find the address, but after multiple moves I had lost it. This website popped up as I started my search again. What a life and time saver. Thank you thank you!!!! I am currently living in North Carolina and was saddened when I heard that Saint Francis closed. I would like to say hello to all of the Saint francis nurses, and especially to the class of 1989, and God bless you in your current work.

Sent: 10/02/2007

My cousin purchased a leather binder at a yard sale. Inside it he found a picture of three St. Francis graduates. The brochure notes that they are all sisters. Their last name is Gabriel. Lucia, class of 1953, Rita, class of 1955 and Blanche, class of 1950. Also, there was a typed letter to their parents, M/M Louis Gabriel of Slickville, PA, and a photo taken at the Penn Albert Hotel in 1947. It appears to be a prom picture. The names above the picture read Chuck ? Garrity, Frank and Carm, Christopher.

He would like to return the photos and letter to them if they are interested. If you have a way to contact any of them to see if they are interested in having these items returned to them please let me know so I can have him send them along.

He is away on vacation this week, but when he returns home next week he will scan the items in and email them to me.

Message: My mother died in October 2005. Her name was Sylvia Nanni when she graduated from St. Frances School of Nursing in 1948. I am saddened that the school no longer exists. Nursing was the single most important aspect of her life. She was one of the finsest nurses known where she made her home in Ontario Canada. She was cremated and I would like to mix her ashes in any of the soil surrounding her former school of nursing. I know that would have made her very happy. Any suggestions.
