How its done. Close up of an OS 50SX mounted on a VStick model.
This un-cowled set up is best for beginners and for general sport flying.
With an un-cowled motor you have instant access to the motor for adjustments etc.
Whereas with a fully cowled scale or semi scale model, it often entails a
screwdriver operation to remove the cowl and access the power plant.
