The statistics are frightening. It is the leading killer of women ages 35-54. One out of every nine woman develops it. And the disease isn't very good at discriminating. Although researchers have identified some risk factors, most women who develop breast cancer don't even fall in that "at risk" category. All women are at risk.
Chances are you know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The statistics are staggering and the numbers are increasing. One out of every nine women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime - a risk that was one out of 14 in 1960. In the United States, The American Cancer Society estimates that in 1995, 182,000 women were diagnosed with breast cancer and 46,000 women died from it.
In 1996, breast cancer was the invasive cancer most frequently diagnosed in women. 1997 United States projections: 184,000 new cases; 44,000 women will die. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death for 42 million women aged 35-54.
STANDARD PRACTICE
The most proven, effective way to fight these statistics and reduce the chance of death or disfigurement from breast cancer is to practice an early detection program. Discovering breast cancer in its early stages is discovering it in its most curable stages. Self-examination and periodic mammography are important tools to use in early detection of breast cancer.
The only "treatments" for breast cancer from conventional medicine's are chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Each of these destroy health cells instead of strengthening them.
Estrogen treatment has been shown to be helpful. There are three forms of the hormone estrogen that are active in the female body: estrone, estradiol, and estriol. Estradiol is the primary estrogen produced by the ovary and estrone is formed by conversion of estradiol. Estrone is thought to be the estrogen primarily responsible for facilitating carcinoma of the breast. Estriol, however, is produced in very large amounts during pregnancy and is proven to be protective against breast cancer.
In 1978, Alvin h. Follingstad, M.D. published a study in the journal of the American Medical Association showing that when small doses of estriol had been given to a group of postmenopausal women with metastatic breast cancer, 37 % experienced a remission or arrest of the metastasized lesions!
Despite this and other studies confirming the benefits of estriol, the most popular forms of estrogen replacement in American menopausal women are conjugated estrogells (Premarin) which are converted mostly into estrone. Estriol is widely used throughout Europe and is readily available in the U.S. by prescription. The formula recommended is called "tn-estrogen," is not patented and can be legally compounded by any pharmacy. It is 80% estriol 10% estrone and 10% estradiol.
HEALTHY ALTERNATIVES
Contrary to what many women think and are led to believe, breast cancer is a preventable disease, and you can start protecting yourself right now.
SUPPLEMENTS
Ample intake of the vitamins long suspected of preventing or ameliorating cancer include the antioxidant group of vitamins. These include Vitamins A, C, and E, Beta-carotene and the mineral Selenium.
BETA-1, 3-D-GLUCAN. It is a unique compound derived from the cell walls of yeast. Beta-1, 3-D glucan triggers an immune response in the body creating a system of defense against viral, bacterial, fungal, parasitic or neoplastic (cancerous) invaders. It also has potent anti-oxidant and free radical scavenging capabilities.
The effects of Beta Glucan have been confirmed through studies at prestigious Universities including Harvard, Tulane, and Baylor College of Medicine. Best and most reasonably priced is from Beta Source (100 mg and 500 mg caps).
Beta-1, 3-D glucan works by activating the macrophages, or immune cells, which trap and engulf foreign substances. This is similar to the way "Pac Man" works in the popular game. Also, the activated cells start a cascade of events that cause the entire immune system to be alerted and mobilized, in a naturally activated sequence. The result is an amplified immune system response until the "invaders" are defeated.
PROGESTERSONE. Endau's formula is effective and made with the finest grades of Wild Yam and Dioscorea Extracts. It is additionally fortified with very high purity progesterone from all-natural sources. Endau Progesterone Cream contains 600 mg of Progesterone per ounce - that's 1200 mg per 2oz. jar.
A lot of medical research is currently being conducted on the effects of the Wild Mexican Yam
XE "Wild Mexican Yam"
and synthetic estrogen. The conclusions of one new study include:
·Transdermal progesterone is well absorbed.
·Transdermal progesterone reduced breast cell proliferation.
· Transdermal progesterone administered monthly will reduce risk of breast cancer.

IMMUNE INDUCER:
It is the a combination of natural Transfer Factors. It elevates the body's own immune system to specific antigens. Transfers distinct cell-mediated immunity to a deficient recipient, it is effective within 24 hours. Remarkable treatment results have been seen for viral, fungal and parasitic infections, cancer, and other health conditions.
Transfer Factor (TF) is the result of 5 decades of research and testing. It works by successfully transferring antigen-specific agents from a donor to a host. In simple terms, one person's immune response to a certain disease could be precisely duplicated so that another person who had little or no immune response to the same agent could likewise fight off an infectious agent like Streptococcus or Diphtheria.
Beta Source is the only company in the world that:
·The only company that owns the only U.S. patent to derive TF from colostrum.
·Has the proven capabilities to commercially produce and manufacture Antigen Specific Transfer Factors derived from colostrum.
·Is properly licensed as a business for the manufacture and sale of TF.
·Is solely dedicated to the manufacture of TF and other immune modulating products.
·Provides quality controls for all Transfer Factor.
·Guarantees presence of TF activity and potency, product safety and absence of antibiotics.
·Guarantees absence of microbes such as E. Coli, Salmonella and other bacterial coliforms.
ESSIAC TEA:
We highly recommend this product. Probably the most controversial herbal aid used today is Essiac, also sold in health food stores. Its name comes from a now-dead Ontario nurse named Renée Caisse (Essiac spelled backwards), who was given the recipe in the 1920s by an Ojibwa woman. Caisse would later claim amazing results for Essiac, saying it significantly extended the life expectancy of many of her cancer patients.
Essiac tastes bitter and is fairly inexpensive. Health food stores sell a two-week dose for about $40, pre-mixed. Or you can buy the ingredients - they include slippery elm, Turkish rhubarb and burdock root - from herbalists and blend them yourself for about $1 a day.
We make Essiac Tea fresh. Call us at (800) 260-4050.
KOMBUCHA TEA:
A fermented drink made from the kombucha mushroom and either green or black tea. Green tea comes from the same plant as black tea and is distinguished from it principally by the way it is processed: it is not fermented. Japanese doctors found out that green tea prevents cancer growth. Don't worry about the caffeine, there's almost none left at the end of the fermentation process.
We make our own Kombucha Tea and it can be ordered by calling us at (800) 260-4050.
DIETARY GUIDELINES
There is ample evidence that a very low-fat, high-fiber, carbohydrate-based diet is protective against breast cancer. In Asian countries, where the traditional diet contains about half the dietary fat consumed in the united states, women experience only one quarter the rate of breast cancer as their American counterparts. In addition, Asian women who do develop breast cancer have better survival rates than American women and this is likely due to their dietary habits.
Even more telling of the connection between diet and breast cancer is the fact that when asian women increase the fat in their diet, their chance of developing breast cancer rises dramatically. For example, Asian women who immigrate to the u.s. experience a fourfold increase in their breast cancer death rate in just one generation!
A high-fat, animal-protein diet substantially increase a woman's "estrogen load." We know that the risk of breast cancer is directly proportional to the amount of estrogen stimulation in the breast.
All women should strive for a 20% fat-calorie diet, meaning that no more than 20% of your daily caloric intake be from fat. Load up on complex carbohydrates and fiber-rich foods like beans and brown rice. Reduce your intake of dairy products and meat. Eat some broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, or brussels sprouts every day preferably raw. These cruciferous vegetables have a very specific anti-breast cancer phytochemical called indole-3-carbinol (13c). Studies have shown that dietary factors trigger enzymes that deactivate the estrogen hormones that fuel the growth of breast cancer tumors.
