CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME

BURDOCK:
Burdock cleans the blood of impurities arid toxins released by viral organisms.
GINSENG:
One of the more popular treatments for CFS, this herb helps the body combat the debilitating effects of the disorder and protects the body from further degeneration.
ECHINACEA:
Considered a natural infection fighter. Helps build resistance to infections by stimulating production of T-lymphocytes.
DANDELION:
Stimulates the elimination of uric acid from the body. A nutritive herb, it is used to treat anemic conditions of the blood.
SUPPLEMENTS
VITAMINS & MINERALS:
Take a complete vitamin and mineral supplement daily.
ZINC:
Important in helping the body fight infections.
LECITHIN:
Helps boost energy and strengthens the immune system.
DMAE. One possible help for CFS is DMAE (di-methyl-amino-ethanol). DMAE stimulates the brain, enhancing learning and memory and reducing fatigue. It has no known side effects. Forms of DMAE are available over the counter in many health food stores.
VITAMIN C. Three to five grams per meal.
COENZYME Q-1O. 20 mg, mixed with 1 teaspoon sesame or almond butter.
L-CARNITINE. 500-1,000 mg per day.
THYMURIL. Two tablets, twice a day.
DHEA. DHEA which can only be obtained by ordering Youthol (Neways), or by eating yams.
DIETARY GUIDELINES
Eat a diet that is at least half raw foods and drink plenty of freshly-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. Avoid sugar, white flour and fat.
