Welcome to Northwest Hikers' Resource and Photo Gallery. This will be an ongoing project. All menu options listed on the following page will become functional and their contents will grow over time. Currently, you will find information on several scenic areas and more than 150 photographs on this web site. The web site is probably best viewed with a screen setting of 832 x 624 pixels. New areas, new information, and more photos will be added as often as time allows. Your comments and suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Initially, the main focus of this site will be on areas normally requiring 3 hours of driving time one way (or less) from the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area.
Fellow hikers/backpackers and employees of government agencies are especially encouraged to submit current information and/or historical information that might serve well on this web site.
