The Stratemeyer Syndicate was created when Edward Stratemeyer had
more ideas than he had time to write books. (He also figured he could make
more money that way!) Various pseudonyms were used
by different anonymous authors, some who have been
identified.
Pen Names/Pseudonyms used by the Stratemeyer
Syndicate
As of 1982
Much of the information is from Stratemeyer Pseudonyms and Series
Books: An Annotated Checklist of Stratemeyer Syndicate Publications,
compiled and edited by Deidre Johnson, first Published in 1982 by Greenwood
Press, adivision of Congressional Information Service, Inc. 88 Post Road
West, Westport, Connecticut 06881.
Some Series used multiple pen names. Those marked with an '*' are part
of someone else's series and are not directly connected with the Syndicate.
