Hello, My name is Ed Harvey the

that having been said lets get onto the nut & bolts of this site. I
have been involved with the fire service since 1983 as an Explorer then
in 1987 I was officially voted into membership in the local fire
company. To

How do you find out about fires ect? Listening to my scanners a Realistic Pro 2020 & a Uniden BC-785D.
I also page for and get pages about incidents for The Incident Page Network.
Why and how do you do this weirdo stuff? - I take these photos as a hobby and from time to time I submit
them to fire service trade publications and fire buffing websites. My goal is to show the fire service in the most positive light possible.
All the while providing photographic documentation of the fire service as it stands into the 21st century.
My fire fighting career officially started in 1987, but here is evidence of my involvement in the fire service as early 1972.
This is a stuffed Smokey the Bear that my father gave me when I
was about 2 years old.
