Injector size requirement can be calculated as follows....

Divide the required Engine HP by 2 and then divide the result by the number of cylinders. Example: 500 HP / 2 = 250       250 / 8 = 31.25

In the above example for a 500 HP V8, a 36 lb/hr or larger injector should be chosen.
