ALERT!!!!

We have actually now caught, ON FILM, a nasty thieving individual, red handed trying to steal AND ride away a Goldwing, SEE BELOW.

The culprit manages to get it started.

We managed to stop her before she could ride away, YES! it was a GIRL.......her name LULU HOWARD.

I blame the PARENTS!

This is my NEW bike, a lovely POWDER BLUE GL1500 (go ahead, laugh if you wish) It came with matching trailer, and used to belong to someone in the Lincolnshire wings.

REMEMBER THIS?

This is what they looked like when they first came out, no top box, no panniers and no fairing, but the thought of a throbbing 1000cc engine and shaft drive was all it took, for me it was love at first sight.

This is "Chrome Obsession" ,a beaut, I saw this wing in the workshops at Appleyards when I was picking up my new wing. It was having a "little" work done, I won't tell you what, but if the owner wants to contact us, he or she can fill you in.

Here's me and my son Mark, justsampling the liquid refreshments in the beer tent at the Treffen. The red glow on my face was due to the lovely sunny day we had just had and NOT the beer.......honest.
