It works for youth at risk -why not try it in industry?  Experienced pros sharing knowledge with the less informed.  I'll keep this simple -if you are interested in developing a "cyber" mentoring relationship via email/online chats with another professional -then send in a brief bio -your career, area, interests, etc (add  the word: MENTOR in the subject heading)..
