The Deck Published in the late 1960's/early 1970's by Hallmark, this charming miniature deck features Charles Schulz' "Peanuts" gang on the courts, aces, joker and back. This deck holds a special place in my heart, as it is the first deck with non-standard courts I owned. I bought them as a kid back when they were first published, and remember hours spent playing Rummy, Crazy Eights, Klondike Solitaire and Pyramid Solitaire with them. Although those decks (along with the rest of my toys) got tossed out by my mom years ago, I was able to purchase the deck on display here at an antique store. Note: Hallmark published this deck with a number of different, psychedelic backs. But be careful - they also published similarly-colored miniature Peanuts decks which had standard courts, aces and jokers. | |
