AMOR
Currently seen as support on blues legend, Buddy Guy's UK tour, Amor have been garnering praise from such diverse publications such as Kerrang and Mojo. A band well worth seeing live so catch them on tour in the UK over the next couple of months.

Aylesbury's premier band producing post punk pop not unlike the Undertones but without the parkas! Their debut album, "Mum's, Dad's and Ladyboys ", is out now on Damaged Goods Records.

They've been gaining interest with their debut mini CD album, especially in USA, where they were invited to play at the 2001 International Pop Overthrow in California, USA.


MADAME V
Madame V (a.k.a. Veronica Start) is your basic D.I.Y. girl. With mostly self-taught skills, this energetic Singer/ Songwriter/ Makeup Artist /Writer and Entrepreneur works hard to get that Madame V vision to you. Raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta- Veronica is of Métis (a mixture of Cree Indian, French & Irish) origin. She developed her production and song writing skills in Vancouver, BC before settling just south of London, England.

V wrote her songs and arrangements in her home studio in Vancouver, then further developing the sounds at Utopia Parkway with producer John Shepp (John is producer of Canada's number 1 selling indie-album of all time, The Last of the Ghetto Astronauts by the Matthew Good Band). Creative influences are artists like Bjork, Eurythmics, Radiohead, and Pulp. She listens to all genres of music.

THREE BLIND MICE

If you really need to label their music, how about Eclectric Rock? Or Acoustric Fusion? Their influences range from Joni Mitchell and The Beatles to Stephen Sondheim and Björk. They’ve had careers as solo artists, fronted their own groups and toured and recorded with artists including Thomas Dolby, George Michael, Swing Out Sister, Go West, Squeeze, Coast to Coast, Level 42, Tom Robinson, David Sylvian, The Human League, Nik Kershaw, Prefab Sprout, Peter Blegvad, Joe Cocker, Sinead O’Connor, Oleta Adams, Julian Cope, Bananarama and Robbie Williams.

Alex Grayson, Garry Wonfor and Lyndon J Connah have been working together on various projects since 1999. Lyndon produced Alex and Garry’s first collaborative album, an acoustic reworking of Simon & Garfunkel songs, for Delta Music, which sold over 20,000 copies. As a result, Delta commissioned the Mice to record a follow-up album, "Unplug the Beatles", which was also released in 2001.

The trio, as 3 Blind Mice, are currently recording their first album of original material and hope to release it early next year. In the meantime, there’s a semi-acoustic album available at gigs for fans who can’t wait!

MICAWBA
Micawba,from the North East of England, have a new CD release, Linear, available from Too Far North Records. Get more info from Micawba's site.

CAPRI
Originally formed in 1995 as a traditional 70's style funk outfit playing soundtrack style grooves, CAPRI have since developed their own upbeat motoring version of funk, punched out by a powerhouse line up.

THE SINDYS
With a range of eclectic influences from Jacques Brel to Johnny Cash, The Sindys released their first album "Camp Launderette" on the proceeds of their first French tour, and they have continued a strong association with the French scene, including radio sessions and major festival dates. In the UK the band have played regularly all over the South-East and occasionally further afield. They've supported a number of influential artists including Half Man Half Biscuit, Patrik Fitzgerald and John Cooper-Clarke.They have been featured on Sean Hughes' Radio and TV shows and Kerrang magazine described them as "artculate and subversive." Recent gigs have included Exodus festival (the largest free festival in the country) and a number of special semi-unplugged shows.

KODEINE
A four piece from Bedford, emotional pop with attitude, album "You'll Stay Like That if The Wind Changes" out through their own label and a website with interviews, nonsense, reviews etc.

DAVID PARRY
David, from Merseyside, cites influences as diverse as Mike Oldfield, Miles Davis, Ramsey Lewis and Ian Dury.

IDIOVERSE
Based in London, you'll find information on gigs,MP3 tracks and more.

fREAK-1-C
A 6 piece from West London, their album,"Swimming with The Big Fish", is released on 19th July.

THE FABRICATORS
The Fabricators from Vancouver, Canada. If you like your Chicago blues or that southern style soulful blues, then check them out at the Fabricators' web site.



JOHNNY PHILKO
A political indie band from Cleveland, Ohio. Their motto is "Music With A Message".



THROE VEIN
From Denver, Colerado, Throe Vein's influences include Nine Inch Nails, Static, X Fear Factory and Skinny Puppy. The website includes details of their gigs in the Colerado area as well as sample tracks of their music.


BROTHER PHEONIX

EMILIE AUTUMN
Along with 22 year old Emilie's distinctive vocals which fluctuate between preternaturally mature soul singer and sultry siren, her debut album highlights her mastery of several instruments including an array of violins, piano, harpsichord, and electronics.
