ABOUT  JW

Thanks for stopping by.........a little about me........I have been earning a living by working with horses all of my adult life. I have worked as a ranch cowboy, ranch manager, stallion station manager, and trained horses for the public for 27 years. For 10 years, we also ran our own cow/calf operation in Butler Co., Kansas. It has been my good fortune to have worked with many great horses and people. You can read a little more about some of my accomplishments below. My experiences working with thousands of different horses both doing real life ranch work, and in the competitive arena, give me a unique perspective, I believe. I enjoy the training and development of great all around ranch and performance horses........and building high quality saddles and gear.

I have been married to my best friend, Edye for 25 years. She was ranch raised, and has a lifetime of experience in the horse  and ranching world. Edye operates her own award winning photography business, The Wright Focus . She also gives some lessons, and helps me run our modest place when her busy schedule allows. We have a daughter, Jordan, who is 21 years old, and attends Wichita State University, and works for a law firm in Wichita as well.
