"Lilly Marcher"

October 4, 1995 - April 15, 2006
"Lilly" was born October 4, 1995 in Colorado. In February 1997 she
came to Vermont to live with me. Lilly had a long healthy
life, but as she grew older she was suffering severe pain due to arthritis.
Even though we tried many things to help her, I knew it was time to
let her go peacefully to be with her friends Chumley (1992-2003) and Max
(1982-2002) who crossed Rainbow Bridge before her.
My gratitude to the Animal Hospital of Hinesburg, Dr. Marv
Greenberg, Dr. Jen Elliot and special thanks to Lilly's primary and favorite vet, Dr. Rich
Armstrong, whom she adored. I will never forget his loving care and
concern for Lilly. Thanks also to the wonderful, dedicated
support staff for all they did for Lilly and me.
Lilly was the gentlest, most loving dog with many special qualities,
unlike any dog I've ever known. She adored me and followed me everywhere.
The feeling was mutual. I feel as though a part of me is missing without
her.
My special appreciation for Lilly's presence in my life
goes to Lonnie Giroux (her breeder) and her daughter Jennifer, in Colorado, because without them I
never would have met "the love of my life."
Rest in Peace, My Sweet, Sweet Miss Lilly...

Lilly's favorite thing was playing
in the snow! Chumley (in background) was her good
friend and housemate!
