The Jewish Story Began
5759 years ago.
But we’ll catch you up
on what you’ve missed so far.

The story keeps evolving. Lending meaning to today’s world. And there’s a great place to get a seat and stay tuned to this tale of the Jewish people - B’nai David-Judea Congregation.

We’re proud of the kind of synagogue we’ve become. BDJ is at the forefront of finding many entry points for Jews to explore and experience Judaism. A place that creates an open atmosphere for study, prayer and spiritual growth (never forgetting that food for thought must also be accompanied by a good cholent and quality kugel). In addition to our regular Shabbat services, some of our programs and activities are:

Minyan Limud - an intimate setting to fully explore the meaning and ritual of the prayer service.

Midweek classes and seminars taught by our Rabbi, Yosef Kanefsky.

Havraya - a young couples and singles group which meets to have fun and do good for others.

Monthly Shabbat Luncheons for singles.

Full Youth Program: BDJuniors for junior high students; GESHER - a pre-bar/bat mitzva course with our Rabbi; and Rechov Yeladim - a Shabbat and holiday program for kids 6 months to 11 years.

Teen Minyan - every month, a complete Shabbat service led by our teens, followed by a sumptuous Kiddush.

Shirat Chana - women’s Torah and Tefilah group, which meets monthly.
