The Old English Sheepdogs at bobbytails are all big, bouncy, fun loving and beautiful.  Typical for the breed you might think, true, but these are all adopted and have special needs.

This is our personal web site of our dogs.
There are no "sob" stories about their past, although there are some to tell !
Our Old English Sheepdogs may be disabled in one way or
another but it doesn't stop them having fun !
They have a great quality of life and so much love to give.

  Our dogs today ......

Barney, Oscar, Lukass, Molly and Jenna (all names we have given them).
They all come from the Gill Harwood Old English Sheepdog Rescue and Welfare UK.
(Gill has many Old English Sheepdogs young and old.)

These days it is very fashionable to own a 'rescue' dog and be able to tell the story of how they 'look' now, but spare a thought for the disabled or dogs with special needs in the rescue centers. They get passed over by prospective 'parents' time and time again. As a result they take longer to re-home, spending more time in rescue, becoming institutionalised and making it all the harder for them (not the owner) to adapt to everyday life in their new home.
