Bob was born in 1949 near Chester UK where his father Johnny was serving in the RAF.
He grew up in various places as the family moved with the RAF,
and was educated in Wiltshire and Exeter University.
He worked teaching English as a foreign language for many years and currently works for
Oaklands College in Hertfordshire teaching IT to students preparing for university.
Bob married Tereska in 1973 in London. Tereska's family came to the UK from Poland during WW2.
Her father was a displaced aristocrat who had managed to evade the Nazis.
Her mother came to the UK after spending time as enforced labour on a Stalinist collective farm.
Tereska teaches and does research in computer software architecture at Westminster University.
Laura, Jamie and Jack were born in London.
The family moved to Barnet on the northern edge of London in 1995.
Bob and Tereska are keen gardeners.
Tereska paints. Bob is a hobby builder.
Laura attends St Michael's Catholic Grammar School in London.
Jamie and Jack go to St Columba's College in St Albans.
Jamie and Laura are enthusiastic musicians.
