Meditation and Yoga Breathing is an introduction to stress reduction, to improving concentration, promoting better breathing habits, and providing overall wellness and peace of mind. Meditation is a non-religious activity that promotes mindfulness, concentration, and relaxation. Some people feel that it opens them spritually and renews their faith; however it is non-denominational and can be practiced by people of all faiths including atheists. This class uses creative visualization, breathing, sound, and other techniques that will introduce the beginner to the many benefits of meditation and breathing techniques. They include:
