BOOGIE FEVER DISCO BAND - Pricing, services and mission statement
PRICING:

Our pricing is based on the number of people attending the event, the location, the length of time requested and whether the event is indoor or outdoor among other factors.  We strive to give clients the best price possible and still make it worth our while, all factors considered.

Bear in mind, when a client hires a band, they are paying not only for the actual music, but also for the travel time, travel expense to and from the event, and the labor for setup and tear-down.

As with anything, you get what you pay for . . .

With that in mind, our fees are negotiable.  We are willing to work with you.  Our quotes are based on what we normally charge for specific types of events.  However, if a client has budgetary constraints or gets a better offer, get back to us ALWAYS and we'll see what we can to make it happen!

SOUND:

BOOGIE FEVER is a 100% self-contained  "all-live" band meaning we provide our own
sound and all equipment needed to perform.  We can provide sound from backyard
parties to arena sized events and everything in between.  For larger venues, we have a
number of affordable sound companies we work with to make sure the entire event is
covered and the sound is exemplary.  While many bands rely on image to get by,  
making sound secondary, with BOOGIE FEVER it's the opposite.  SOUND is the
most important factor to us!  After all, if the band sounds terrible, no amount of
costuming, lip-synching or onstage antics will make it any better, just more
embarrassing.

For out-of-state events that require us to fly, it is necessary to for the client to provide
a backline.  A backline, in our case, consists of:  full drumset, bass amp, guitar amp,
keyboard amp and complete PA system with minimum three monitors and five vocal
mikes and in some cases a soundman.

Most equipment can be rented locally for a lot cheaper than many people might think.
Bear in mind however, the better quality of equipment, the better we sound.

LIGHTING:

Many clients ask about lighting and special effects.  Lighting is essential if a client
really desires to create a club or concert atmosphere for their event.  We rent lighting
and can get stage lights, disco balls, club lights, fog machines, police beacons, etc.  
Because we work with a number of local area music stores we get special deals.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Our mission as a band is to provide the best entertainment in as a professional
manner as possible, and to make sure all event attendees have a safe, enjoyable and
memorable time.  We hear horror stories frequently from clients that have hired bands
in the past that have experienced all kinds of problems that are frankly unbelievable to
us as full-time professional musicians.  It is simply the difference between rank
amateurs and dedicated professionals.

Our goal is to be invisible and ultra-professional as far as the business aspect goes on the day of the event. Clients book us to have a good time and be entertained, not to
baby-sit the band. The majority of our business comes from referrals and repeat
customers that have been booking us for years.
