I LOVE HAWAII!
You probably think that I am crazy because I love so many places that we visited... Rarely, that I did not like any place that we went to. Perhaps that is a good vibes because it makes me enjoy life, people and travelling. Hawaii was Ted's play ground after he graduated from high school. We went to and through Hawaii many, many times... The last trip we just took as family was memorable. We went to Honolulu, Oahu and Hilo, Hawaii in May 1996. Honolulu grew so much we hardly recognized the many buildings, hotels, and boulevards. There were many people on the beaches as usual. The weather and the sceneries in Hilo and Volcano were beautiful. It was unreal, so refreshing and unpretentious. We stayed at Uncle Bill's, a small family own hotel on the Hilo Bay. They had the most beautiful flower arrangements in the whole world! Gigantic Bird of Paradises, Orchids and Ginger flowers. We went to eat at a hotel next door several times. It was reasonbly and so relaxing sitting in the open patio and looking out into the bay while you eat your lunch.
