Bridge & TV

by KC

Once upon a time there lived three bears named Imelda, Frederique and Mongolia. They would spend their days watching TV or playing bridge, but never at the same time, because they claimed that this caused their bridge scores to be too low. One day a little girl named Goldilocks stopped by with a VCR. This allowed the three bears to tape the programs they liked watching, and watch them when they were bored with playing bridge. Because of this improvement in their time management, they were able to play more games of bridge per day, while at the same time, see all the TV programs they enjoyed. Goldilocks soon moved in with the three bears and kept her things in the spare bedroom on the second floor next to the linen closet.
